COUNTY JAIL
The
Kewaunee County Jail, built in 1969, houses prisoners convicted
of crimes by the Kewaunee County Circuit Court. The jail has a maximum
capacity of 22 inmates. Only male inmates are housed here because
of staffing requirements for females and juveniles. Females and
juveniles are housed at outside jails. Our jail consits of 3 maximum
security cell blocks and 1 huber dorm. The kitchen staff prepares
3 meals a day.
